This Guidelines in Practice CPD activity consists of 5 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) designed to test your knowledge on managing testosterone deficiency (TD) in primary care—you will then be prompted to reflect on your learning.
The questions, written by Professor Geoff Hackett and Professor Mike Kirby relate to their expert article, Testosterone deficiency: treat men who have bothersome symptoms, which considers the latest British Society of Sexual Medicine recommendations on the diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of TD. These questions have been developed for your CPD.
On completion of this activity, you should be able to:
- identify the signs and symptoms of TD
- know how to confirm a diagnosis of TD
- act on the results of tests and know when testosterone therapy is appropriate.
