To celebrate 25 years of promoting best practice in healthcare, MGP Ltd (publishers of Guidelines and Guidelines in Practice) have teamed up with Antibiotic Research UK in a partnership to help raise awareness of antibiotic resistance.

Antibiotic Research UK (ANTRUK) is the world’s first charity created to fight antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections through research, education and patient support. As part of the partnership, Guidelines in Practice has brought together all its educational resources to support you in your knowledge of antibiotic resistant infections, antimicrobial prescribing, and stewardship. Alongside this, you can find information on ANTRUK’s patient support and information programme, and details of how to take part in their annual fundraiser, The Great British Tea Party.

’We are delighted to have been chosen by MGP to help them celebrate their 25th anniversary through a campaign to tackle antibiotic resistance. ANTRUK is the world’s first charity created to fight antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections through research, education and patient support. We are thrilled that MGP will help promote our patient support and information programme with primary care audiences, which will lead to more patients knowing where they can seek help and information.’–Professor Colin Garner, Chief Executive, Antibiotic Research UK.
